Free pattern for National Beading Week

I designed this little charm as an introduction to Right Angle Weave and to celebrate National Beading Week there is a free workshop  on Sunday 31st July at Haydock Park Bead Festival. Beads have been kindly donated by several of our exhibitors.

The charms make great little scissor fobs, key rings, bag rings, and I even put a few together and made a nice little napkin ring for the Christmas table - no, it's never too early to bead for Christmas.

Clematis Lariat workshops

National Beading Week 2016

To celebrate National Beading Week 2016 we are hosting several events between 30th July and 7th August.
On 31st July we will have a special free workshop at the Haydock Park Bead Festival - see www.beadsupnorth.co.uk for more details.

It's bead group week, so if you fancy coming to visit and have a chat with one of the groups just ring Kathryn on 01254 236049. We currently have availability for Tuesday 7.00 - 9.30 or Wednesday 7.00-9.30.
 On Friday 5th August we have 2 beading sessions here at The Beading Room - see the book a workshop page at www.virtual.halfpenney.co.uk for details. If you're an experienced beader then come along and bead with us. If you've never done it before, then come and find out more. Either way it will be loads of fun.

 On Saturday 6th August I will be demonstrating at Hobbycraft, Preston and some of our bead group members will be beading in store. Demonstrations start at 10.15 and run throughout the day until 4.00pm. No booking necessary, so do pop in and see us if you're in the area.

Bead embroidery workshop update - Christmas Baubles

I've just updated the Christmas Bauble workshop with some new photos of the baubles you will be able to make. You can make the pine cone too.
