A Beading Experience at Accrington Library

To celebrate National Beading Week (www.nationalbeadingweek.co.uk) we will be at Accrington Library tomorrow, Tuesday 28th July. We'll be there between 10.30am and 4.30pm, so why not come and join us. Stay 5 minutes or all day - it's up to you!

New FREE pattern to download

After many requests for the pattern for my spec chain, you can now download the pattern FREE OF CHARGE. Go to the free stuff page on www.virtual.halfpenney.co.uk and look for the Quick and easy spectacle chain pattern. If you've not used the site before, then you will need to set up an account but that bit's quick and easy too!

Where have the boxes gone?

If you've been looking at some of the beads this week - particularly the Delicas, you will see that there is not an option to have the beads in the box. This is only temporary and we expect to get more boxes next week.
We ran out of the correct size and decided that you might not want them in larger boxes.
Other sizes are still available on the Clear View page.

Marlene's workshop update

Great news! Marlene's workshop on 25th July - Delightful Lily Lariat - filled up so quickly we have arranged another 2 more dates. 

On 2nd August you can join Marlene at Haydock Park Bead Festival. So, you can enjoy the workshop AND have time to visit all of the exciting stands at the Festival.

On 22nd August Marlene will be back at The Beading Room, Clayton-le-Moors.

Marlene will also be making 2 more colour options available, so  you'll have a choice of 5! Can't be bad...

Changes to our delivery terms and charges

Postage costs increase regularly and every now and again we need to review our postage charges. We didn't want to increase your costs so here's what we have done. The cost to you will remain the same (ie £1.50 for orders £15 and under, Free for orders over £15). Parcels that fit within Royal Mail's 'Letter' and 'Large Letter' size restrictions will continue to be sent First Class.  Larger parcels, especially those that contain Clear View boxes) will be sent by Courier and may take a few days longer to arrive with you. If you have a large order that you need urgently please let us know and we can arrange next day delivery with a small additional charge.

New - Drop In To Bead Kits now available

Inspired by our Drop In table at Haydock Park Bead Festival, these "Drop In To Bead" kits have been designed to make in an hour or two, with no experience necessary. They are great value at just £5 each, either as an introduction to Bead Weaving or as a quick make for those occasions when you just have nothing to wear!! There are 2 colour options available for each design. Click on Bead Kits, then Drop In To Bead kits to see the full range. A Beading Experience in Accrington July 28th 2015

Here at Halfpenney's, our bead groups are getting ready for National Beading Week - 25th July - 2nd August? Why not join us in Accrington Library on Tuesday 28th July for a fun beading day, or just pop in and see our exhibitions, displays, demonstrations and 'Av a Go sessions. Whether you're experienced or never done beading before, there will be something for you.
