New Jacobeadery Workshop coming soon

Manda Kent-Burns from The Jacobeadery will be coming to Halfpenney's on Saturday 11th August for a full day workshop to get you started with Bead Embroidery and show you how to make this delightful pen holder.

All materials will be provided and there will be different colours to choose from, so pencil the date in your diary now.

Booking will be available at The (Virtual) Beading Room as soon as the final pricing has been agreed.

Delightful Lily Lariat Pattern now available

Our latest pattern, from an an original design by Marlene O'Reilly is now available to download.
With several components to make, you will use brick stitch, tubular peyote stitch and Cubic Right Angle Weave (CRAW). Some experience is recommended but full instructions are provided. If you have never done CRAW before, then extra instructions are provided for this stitch so you can practice with larger, coloured beads.

International Beading Week

We are supporting International Beading Week (26th July - 5th August) this year with a 2-day event at Oswaldtwistle Mills.
You can just come to have a look or come and bead with us. It's all free, but if you want to guarantee your place for either one or even both days then please book on-line or you can email kathryn@halfpenney.co.uk.

Regal Rivoli Necklace Workshop now open to book

You can now book for Marlene O'Reilly's workshop on 26th August on the Book A Workshop page of our (Virtual) Beading Room www.virtual.halfpenney.co.uk .

It's is a stunning necklace using a variety of beads and stitches.

Swarovski Rivolis are provided and the galvanised gold beads are Miyuki Duracoat - only the best is good enough!

Book your place for just £35.00 including instructions, materials, tuition for the full day, and refreshments (not lunch though). If you want to buy extra materials, then these will be available for just £15.00 - when ordered in advance.

Date confirmed for needlecase workshop

It was with a heavy heart that we had to cancel Marlene's Needlecase Workshop on 18th March due to the heavy snow that had fallen overnight.
