Changes to our delivery terms and charges

Postage costs increase regularly and every now and again we need to review our postage charges. We didn't want to increase your costs so here's what we have done. The cost to you will remain the same (ie £1.50 for orders £15 and under, Free for orders over £15). Parcels that fit within Royal Mail's 'Letter' and 'Large Letter' size restrictions will continue to be sent First Class.  Larger parcels, especially those that contain Clear View boxes) will be sent by Courier and may take a few days longer to arrive with you. If you have a large order that you need urgently please let us know and we can arrange next day delivery with a small additional charge.

New - Drop In To Bead Kits now available

Inspired by our Drop In table at Haydock Park Bead Festival, these "Drop In To Bead" kits have been designed to make in an hour or two, with no experience necessary. They are great value at just £5 each, either as an introduction to Bead Weaving or as a quick make for those occasions when you just have nothing to wear!! There are 2 colour options available for each design. Click on Bead Kits, then Drop In To Bead kits to see the full range. A Beading Experience in Accrington July 28th 2015

Here at Halfpenney's, our bead groups are getting ready for National Beading Week - 25th July - 2nd August? Why not join us in Accrington Library on Tuesday 28th July for a fun beading day, or just pop in and see our exhibitions, displays, demonstrations and 'Av a Go sessions. Whether you're experienced or never done beading before, there will be something for you.

April delivery of new Delica colours and new Thread Zap

Hi there

We have quite a lovely selection of 8 new colours that are now available on the website. We just love the colours and we will continue to keep adding new ones to our Delica 11 range. If there is a colour you can't find for that special pattern then drop us an email and we'll see what we can do.

You will also find the Ultra Thread Zap on the website - an improved model since Thread Zap II. As you'll see from the photo below it has a new shape. The tip is retractable, so more protected, and you'll find a spare tip stored in the battery compartment. There is a wrist strap provided, and you could personalise this with some beading of your own!

New kit now available

Marlene O'Reilly has designed this bracelet for us and it's now available in a kit with 2 colour options - Raspberry and Peppermint. Classed as a coconut, so an understanding of even count peyote is desirable, you will explore textures produced by different beads. Priced at just £14.95 you get the pattern, all the beads, thread, needle and clasp and you can make the bracelet up to 21cm (8 1/2") long. Welcome to The (Virtual) Beading Room

The (Virtual) Beading Room is now open for business. It's a fantastic new place to find those patterns that we have previously only sold in kits. You can buy the pattern and download it straight away. No more waiting for the postman to call before you can get beading.

We want it to be a place where you can get help and support, so you will find also some free guides to help you with new stitches or techniques.  There's also a free pattern on there already, just to get you started. As with any new venture we're starting small but we'll soon have lots more for you to join in with.
